Challenge
Yard Butler was looking to boost their online marketing and reposition their brand online. They needed to create a new e-commerce site in as little as two to three months. Focusing on a new audience of small space gardeners, it was important to showcase products in high detail while providing informative content that could benefit customers.
Solution
We worked with their team to analyze their past site and determine what information we needed to bring over. After migrating over product and customer data, we set up redirects on all existing pages to minimize any loss in traffic. Our team then selected and modified a premium theme that could easily accommodate large product catalogs with high volume.
Product Swatches & Gallery
We included large product swatches to make it easy for customers to select colors. Tooltips appear to inform users of their choice. Images dynamically change out upon color selection. With the image gallery, product images have an enabled lightbox and appear in their own modal window. Customers can easily scroll through images and view all different product attributes.
Quick View & Checkout
We added quickview to product listings for easy purchase. This allows customers to add a product to the cart without advancing to the product page. They can view all product information and images right from within the quickview modal. This saves checkout time and allows for a smoother buying experience. With the checkout process, Shopify offers a simple and clear checkout out of the box. We’ve updated the styling to match the overall color scheme of the site.
